Introduction Harold started his career manufacturing Power-Vac’s, and duct cleaning in 1957. In 1968 he started Harold’s Power-Vac Inc. which remains a family owned and operated business to this day. Since that time his son “Dave Rahn” has joined the company and is now , in charge of all operations. To maintain the highest assurance of quality and performance, Dave or Harold do all of the manufacturing and quality control of their products. They also operate a furnace & duct cleaning business, which uses the products they sell, on a daily basis. In 1998 we designed and manufactured a gas portable vacuum called the HORNET. The Hornet has been a huge success in the market place where the customer wants high quality equipment but has limited resources to invest.If you would like to speak to Dave or Harold about the purchase of any of their products, they would be happy to take your call. Thank you for your interest. If you are an HVAC or SERVICE Co. at the present time, your customer base is the opportunity you have, to launch your new duct cleaning business. Your Service Tech will have many opportunities to recommend that the combustion side of furnaces (gas & oil) & ducts, air-conditioning coils, fans, etc, be cleaned. On the other side, the Cleaning Tech will observe problems during the cleaning operation that will need to be addressed by the Service Tech. In this manner, your business can offer full service, while providing growth for each of the departments. If you are now using another firm, to do your cleaning, you are giving up $250 to $500 per/job referred to them. Also, if cleaning jobs from your customer base were added to this, it would amount to a substantial cash flow for the year. Let us say that you only did a minimal amount of $400 per/day, for 5 days per/week, this would = $2000 a week, $8000 per month, or $96,000 a year. Most successful Power-Vac Businesses average $800 to $1,000 a day for the most part of the year. A few slow months will show during the dead of winter. An "advertising aid package", job schedule sheets, furnace stickers and other essential samples are also provided so that you may customize them to fit your company.
